Reflections – 01/07/2018
A weekly 30-minute space for Christian prayer, song and devotion. It is presented by the Kilkee Prayer Group led by Anne Haugh and Kathleen Ryan and joined in by Donnie Dillon, Anne Marie Harte and Antonio Cebas. It is an invitation to engage in Christian worship through prayer and song, as well as to reflect on the lives of the Saints whose feast day we celebrate. All listeners at home are invited to add their own prayers and petitions and together with those of the group offer them in unison to the Grace of the Lord and our Blessed Lady.

She has delivered conference papers at Oxford; Lincoln College: Exploration of the Medieval Gaelic Diet: (2012); seminar papers at the Moore Institute in NUI Galway, ‘The Gaelic Lordships in Thomond, c. 1400-c.1500’ and papers at Irish Conference of Medievalists on themes of Brian Boru and landscape of East Clare. Lorna has published on medieval themes and on maritime subjects.
Lorna received her Certificate for the Advancement of Forensic Genealogy (CAFG) in Dallas in March 2015.

Mary Droney 70th Party at Mowlam Healthcare – RCB Special
On the June 20th, RCB were invited to join with the staff and residents at Mowlam Healthcare in Kilrush to celebrate with Mary Droney on her 70th birthday. James Flanagan visited along with Ray Lowe providing the live music in a day of song and laughter and most of all, caring. We hope the radio station played a part in giving Mary, from Miltown Malbay, a day to remember. Congrats Mary and much thanks to all the staff and residents for treating us with such welcoming hospitality. The 50 minute show will air on Wednesday June 27th at 6pm and on Friday June 29th at 1pm on 92.5 and 94.8fm and www.rcb.ie for an online feed worldwide
