Out and about into the Loop Head last Sunday, Teresa visits Halla Eoin Arts and Crafts fair to meet stall holders Susie, Dora , Audran, and Annabel. Annabelle joins us live in the studio today for a chat about the problems older less familiar users may face accessing the WWW for essential day to day use such as service bill payments and banking.

St Flannans College started prior to the famine in Springfield House in Harmony Road.
Ciarian say the late Canon Ruben Butler encouraged him to write a history book on the origins of the college to to present day.
He also thank many of the past and present teachers in helping him to produce this incredible book.

John is a retired UK Policeman after 31 yrs..
While John and his wife now live in west Clare . Managing a cattery. John still manages bands and a night club in the UK. He has many stories of meeting the greats in rock and roll and blues music.
Plus his home is full of albums ,cd ,tapes or many great artist he met along the way.

Armistace Day 11.11.23
Armistice Day celebrated at the Clare Peace Park.
In November 2014, on the 100th Anniversary of the start of the Great War, Kilkee Civic Trust unveiled a Memorial to those who sacrificed their lives from the Parishes of Doonbeg, Kilkee, Carrigaholt & Kilballyowen.
“They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old;
Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn.
At the going down of the sun and in the morning
We will remember them.”

Lorna produces and presents the successful show: ‘The Genealogy Radio show’ aired each Thursday at 4p.m. from beautiful Kilkee, Co. Clare at Raidio Corcabaiscinn and Podcasts are available weekly.
Lorna has delivered conference papers at Oxford; Lincoln College: Exploration of the Medieval Gaelic Diet: (2012); seminar papers at the Moore Institute in NUI Galway, ‘The Gaelic Lordships in Thomond, c. 1400-c.1500’ and papers at Irish Conference of Medievalists on themes of Brian Boru and landscape of East Clare. Lorna has published on medieval themes and on maritime subjects. Her research areas are the MacNamaras and O’Briens of Thomond.
Lorna received her Certificate for the Advancement of Forensic Genealogy (CAFG) in Dallas in March 2015.

Mairead speaks to Kevin Heapes Board Member of Querrin School CLG who are all set to revamp the Querrin School House, it will re-emerge as the Community Centre, and so kicking off with event on Turning The Lights Back On! November 26th – “Join us to celebrate the start of a new lease of life for the old schoolhouse as we transform this lovely building into our new Community Center. We will, with your help, be decorating our community Christmas tree while enjoying some live music and free refreshments. Visit the individual rooms and see what we are envisioning for each. There’ll also be a bake sale, a craft fair featuring local artists & more.”
