The West Coast Rock Show is exclusively broadcast on RCB Radio, playing some of the latest and hottest new and classic rock bands. Presented and produced by Stuart Green, the show brings together old and new rock tracks and aims to give information on the rock music scene in the West of Ireland. Cummunity Unity

On this weeks Community Unity we discuss all things community. We are joined live in the studio from John Aston from Astoneco about the brainstorming workshop held by Querrin Community Development Group on the future of the school building. We hear from John Murphy from the West Coast Motorcycle Club to tell us of a bike run to be held on Sunday 24th October in aid of Happy Feet Happy Minds . Another live guest Kim Thittichai and http://www.kimthittichai.com tells us about her exhibition in Culterlann Sweeney and her Sonas Studio situated between the Bridges of Ross and Loop Head Lighthouse. We also hear from Marie Lynch the Director of Junior Entrepreneur Programme that launched for school children. We also hear from David Nagel who recently relaunched West Clare Trophies in Kilkee Community Centre.

The Genealogy Show – Literacy In Nineteenth Century Ireland – Series 14 Episode 28


Lorna is a Professional Genealogist and Family Historian. She is a longstanding member of the Association of Professional Genealogist. Lorna is the Resident Genealogist for Dromoland Castle in County Clare. Lorna worked as Project Genealogist for George Boole *200 genealogy project for University College Cork and is an excellent researcher for Irish family histories.

Lorna produces and presents the successful show: ‘The Genealogy Radio show’ aired each Thursday at 4p.m. from beautiful Kilkee, Co. Clare at Raidio Corcabaiscinn and Podcasts are available weekly.

Lorna has delivered conference papers at Oxford; Lincoln College: Exploration of the Medieval Gaelic Diet: (2012); seminar papers at the Moore Institute in NUI Galway, ‘The Gaelic Lordships in Thomond, c. 1400-c.1500’ and papers at Irish Conference of Medievalists on themes of Brian Boru and landscape of East Clare. Lorna has published on medieval themes and on maritime subjects. Her research areas are the MacNamaras and O’Briens of Thomond.

Lorna received her Certificate for the Advancement of Forensic Genealogy (CAFG) in Dallas in March 2015.
