Born in Kilnaboy but moved in recent years in the village of Corofin. Now 91yrs old talks about football and his farming life. Set up a football club in Kilnaboy and later amalgamated with Corofin GAA.
Was well known for bringing the creamery cans of farmers to the Creamery in Corofin.

Radio Beamsshow this week is with well know Pat Fitzgerald retired Clare Clare GAACounty Secretary.
Pat was born near Clonlare.Small farm.1st job barman in Limerick then Bunratty.Got a job in stores in Shannon Airport. Became very active in trade union. Led him been elected to Board of Aer rinta. which he tried hard to stop the break up of 3 airports breaking up.Leading to Shannon being a independent airport.
Pat better know for his strong role in change in Clare GAA.
Where he was County secretary during CLare winning 3 All Ireland ’95 ’97 ‘2013 wonderful joyful memories.

Radio Beams – Pat Talty Support staff at Bedford Row in Clare.

Radio Beams show this week is with well know Pat Talty who works with the Bedford Row project who deal with prisoners coming and going to prison in the Clare. He has a office based in Kilrush
Families and prisoners can contact him Bedford Rd during working Pat hours. Pat also works in the prisons in Limerick. On average 90 prisoners in Clare.

“We are Human Too” Ann Marie Flanagan Editor, Martin Tobin and Brian Hogan two of the 100 contributors.
Launch in Temple Gate Hotel Friday 1st of March at 12pm . In partnership with EBCF2024 and Clare Leader Forum

Radio Beams – Martina Durac Directore and Chair Niamh O Donovan of Ennis Book Festival.

Radio Beams show this week is with two people who are immersed in the 18th Ennis Book Club Festival. One is the Artistic Director Marian Durac . Chair is Niamh O Donovan Executive of Clare Libraries
Martina has a Directed a lot of programmes with TG4 doc. Along with many other works with other bodies.
Niamh says this will bring a lot of business to Ennis over the 3 days.
Both Glor Ennis and Temple Gate Hotel will be the hub of the Ennis Book Club Festival. Other venues will play a part.

Radio Beams – Niall Cleary pub life in Bofeys Corofin and how he got there.

Radio Beams show this week is well know Niall Cleary joint owner of Bofey Quinns Bar & Restaurant in Corofin, A Dublin man who trained a chef in Berkley Court Hotel in Dublin. Went to London with his wife Trish Cleary.
Decided to come to Corofin as his dad had retired there. Bought the pub and restaurants. in 1993.
Now only operating 3 days a week due to cost of running pub due to lack of customers.
Niall have got two artificial hips and wishes to retire . Now in the last number of years Niall has trained in a new profession .

Radio Beams – Seamus O Reilly talks about life and his latest book on Clare GAA 1887 to 2023

Radio Beams show this week is with well know Seamus O Reilly a well know GAA Journalist .Seamus was born in to a family of 6 children. in Ballynacally.
Loved sport and wanted to be a PE teacher. Went to UK for a few years.
Came back and set up the Clare County Express a free paper. Which lasted for 44 yrs finished last year.
Seamus is an author as well. His latest book is recording GAA winner in Clare County from 1887 to 2023 names the teams and other very interesting information.

Radio Beams – Caroline Rouine from Retreat yourself Yoga

Radio Beams show this week is with well known Caroline Rouine of Retreatyourslf Yoga based in Kildysart .Caroline travels around other venues as required.
Caroline left Shannon at 20 yrs old and lived and worked in New York where she met her now husband and set up the Yoga interest
Came home at the onset on Covid 19 and had to stay and now decided to live her with her family. .Does a lot of corporate events with included vegetarian foods after the yoga.

George and Mike play music over 110 yrs between them.
Emma is a parent of 4 children and looking forward to Santa arrival.
Desiree lives on her own and with share Christmas day with her partner,
Padraic will have his sister and family around for Christmas.

Mick has his working hanging in the Glor gallery called Divided Loyalties about the time of the Black and Tans . Will hang there till January.
