Radio Beams – Kidney stories with Eoghan O Ceirin,Peggy Eustace and Noretta Clifford.

Radio Beams show this week is talking to 3 people about the issues of kidney disease.
1st we have Eoghan O Ceirin from Ennistymon who had a kidney transplant,but still do exchanges 3 time a day.
Then we speak to the Secretary of the Clare Kidney Association Noretta Clifford who also had a transplant and working very well. Both are very thankful to the donors .
Never to be forgotten and advise all of us to carry a donor card. Peggy Eustace who explains the great work of the Clare Kidney Association does along with the National Kidney Association.

Radio Beams – 1st poet Laureate Grace Wells lives in Ennistymon

Radio Beams show this week is with Grace Wells from Ennistymon who was nominated as the 1st poet Laureate in Clare. On Saturday evening in the Falls Hotel there will be a poetry evening facilitated by the great poet Sarah Clancy. It will be streamed on line.Supported by the Arts in Clare. Grace has written books with an environmental theme in them and her poems reflect this as well.

Radio Beams – James Tierney story told by Lynsey, Lorrain,Dennis Tierney and Joe O Connell

Radio Beams story this week is about a James Tierney born in 1929 and died in 1995 in Corofin he had very creative brain and hands.
Recently a memorial was unveiled in Corofin near his garage where he worked. It about the wonderful things he did in his life.
Story told by Lyndsey Tierney granddaughter, Lorraine and Denis his children and Joe O Connell who was involved in the ceremony.

Radio Beams show this weeks is with 3 hospitality business.
We have Darragh McAlister owner of Lucas pub and President of Ennis Chamber of Commerce, John Hughes of Le Croque, and Bemol Piotrowski manager of Yellow Submarine in Corofin .
They share they view on indoor dining and outdoor dining and the regulations around it.

Radio Beams this week show is with Aishling Glynn from Kilrush who is a Solicitor.
She is on the board of the National Disability Authority. Aishling has also written on her disability in the Irish Times.
Aishling is also involved with the Lighthouse project in Kilrush.

Radio Beams this week is the story of Private Joseph Hawes as told by Eoin Ruane who was born very near in Kilkeedy Tubber.
Both went to the same school in Boston Tubber. Joe house is still standing. Joe was born in 1893 and dies in Kirlush in 1972.
